Farm Stays
By far the most popular hosted farm accommodation, this is your typical working farm varying in size from 20 acres to over 1,000 acres, often running upwards of several thousand sheep. A number of farms may have a combination of sheep, cattle, deer, goats, and cereal crops. In addition, there are an increasing number of dairy farms, orchards, vineyards and those properties involved in horticulture.
Country Home Stays
Rural Holidays NZ Ltd offers smaller, specialised accommodation at properties of between a few acres and up to 20 acres, they are located close to major cities, 
towns and resorts. Often country home hosts are semi retired farmers or professional people enjoying a country lifestyle.
City Home Stays
We, at Rural Holidays NZ Ltd, have carefully chosen a limited number of host homes in the major cities, towns and resorts of New Zealand that provide superb accommodation and hospitality.
What is Included?
Included in each of Rural Holidays NZ Ltd stays is a delicious three course dinner, a warm, comfortable bed and your choice of a cooked or continental breakfast. A scrumptious light lunch will also be served should you be staying the full day.
Bed and breakfast packages are not an option when being farm hosted, or on farm stays, as cafes and country inns are often many kilometres (miles) away. Farm hosting and farm stays packages always include dinner.
